Dr. Tennant’s^® Germ Defense Essential Oil is designed for immune support. It has highly antiviral, antiseptic, antibacterial and anti-infectious properties which can help protect the body against illnesses. It may also assist with: urinary tract infections (UTIs), cystitis, canker sores, sore throat, coughs and colds, congestion, diarrhea, fever, flu, fungus, intestinal tract infection, bacteria, parasites, stomach viruses and mold spores among others.

This blend consists of: Clove Bud (Eugenia caryophyllata), Lemon, Cinnamon Bark (Cinnamon zeylanicum), Eucalyptus radiata and Rosemary ct. verbenone (Rosmarinus officinalis).

How to apply: (T) Topical: Dilute the oil with a carrier oil (e.g. coconut oil and almond oil are common carriers) and apply to the concerned area. (D) Diffusion: Can be used in diffusers. However, if inhaled directly, may irritate nasal membranes (e.g. if sniffing from an undiluted bottle directly). (I) Internal: Suitable for internal use with proper guidance from a healthcare or medical practitioner.

NOTE: this is a "hot" blend and should not be used beyond the recommended dermal use levels to avoid irritation/sensitization. If irritation occurs, immediately dilute with more carrier oil. The maximum dermal use level is 1 drop per 8mL carrier due to potential skin irritation issues. Maximum adult daily dose not to exceed 36 drops.

Safety Warning: Keep out of reach of children. If pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult your physician before use. Avoid using on infants or very young children. Essential oils, by their concentrated nature, may sometimes cause sensitivity if used in their undiluted form.

Contraindications for medical/health conditions:
Contraindicated Orally: Anticoagulant, Diabetes, Diuretic medication; Childbirth and Major Surgery (one week before and after), Peptic Ulcer, Pregnancy, Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders.

NOTE: Do not use orally if the following apply: hemophilia, kidney or liver disease. May inhibit blood clotting.

Cinnamon Bark: Contraindicated orally: Anticoagulant and Diabetes medication; Childbirth and Major Surgery (one week before and after), Peptic Ulcer, Hemophilia

Clove Bud: Contraindicated Orally: Anticoagulant, MAOIs or SSRIs, Pethidine; Childbirth (one week before and after), Liver and Kidney disease (all routes), Major Surgery (one week before and after), Peptic Ulcer, Hemophilia
